Source checked 2026-10-16NightGarden at Fairchild in Coral Gables publishes a November 12 opening and offers illuminated paths plus optional ice skating. Choose a December date in its official ticket calendar; we have not assumed an end date. Skating is a separate add-on. Heathcote Botanical Gardens in Fort Pierce is another holiday-light calendar to check before a Treasure Coast trip.
Bright lights, music and crowds can be a lot. A drive-through outing lets you stay in your vehicle, but is not automatically sensory-friendly. Look at the NeuroCoach sensory-adjusted event guide for specifically advertised programs, including the Central Florida Zoo’s sensory nights.
Choose one main outing, decide what you want to spend, and plan the snack, toilet stop and trip home before adding anything else. For an Orlando weekend, book the timed event first and leave the next morning flexible.
Start with the official links on each card. City parks-and-recreation calendars, library event calendars and attraction ticket calendars are the best final checks for cancellations, resident-only activities, required registration and actual availability.
